For Applebloom, by request.

Came out pretty darn good, if I do say so myself!

Before I get busy and forget, here.

I couldn’t quite get the timing right, but I still think it came out pretty good!

Edit: Also, there’s no outro. At all. Sorry.

Got home a few hours ago. Just a minor exercise. Very short, but it sounds alright.

Bon-Bon here uploading this for Lyra. The rest of his message was already wrote out.

The sheet music notation for this one was kinda confusing. I was sort of losing heart for a little bit, but through trial and error I got it down pat!

This is my favorite recording to date! It’s kind of short, but it’s gotta a swinging beat and a great bassline! So good that I even gave it a bass solo! I’m super proud of this one!

Best day ever!

Disclaimer: I’ve never heard the original piece. At all. I have no idea what it’s supposed to sound like, or even it’s proper BPM. I did this absolutely as fast as possible to get something out so I could rest for the night and continue with that Earthbound track tomorrow.

That said, not bad. Sounds like a waltz, which is always classy.

I put this together real quick. I don’t know what’s going to happen today. I sent Rarity a message a while ago, but I haven’t heard anything back yet.

I just wanted to make sure I had something ready no matter what.

This is an automated message.

Good gracious at the time! It completely slipped away from me!

Here’s some Contra beats. It’s just a solo piece on my lyre.

I know I said I was going to withhold the whole thing until it was done (the entire sound track of the game, that is), but It’s been days and I don’t have anything else ready!

Okay, so the reason I choose Moonsong over the other two, was because Angel had also asked for that one quite a while back.

So here’s the finished product. Looped once with a very minor outro.

Not at the time I received the message!

Why Bolero Of Fire I have no idea, but I’m still working on the big thing. It’s coming along much slower than I had hoped.

Okay, I said I wouldn’t upload it. So I’m not.

Threw this together real quickly to take its place. It’s simple, but elegant in a way.

Now you can have your cake and… withhold it too…?

Okay, I think I found my backbone in a corner.

When Gilda initially came over for a recording, she was kinda buzzing. I couldn’t really get her to play by the piece by-the-book for a while. The result was some pretty gnarly stuff, but most of it I had to discard because it went too far off on a tangent of its own.

I did manage to fit some of it in, though! And that’s what you’ll start hearing here and there about halfway into the piece!

Thanks again to Gilda for the guitar work. And also Star Catcher this time for providing recorder support during the refrain! Much richer sound than guitar alone!

Is this okay? Or would everypony prefer to hear pieces performed by-the-book?

Edit: Also, sorry it’s so short. I thought I had more to work with.

Mister Special Agent York was interested in hearing a simplified version of the Protoman Theme from (technically) yesterday. So while it was still fresh in my head I recorded this.

Now that I hear both, I definitely like the first one better. I probably won’t link to this version of the track from my sidebar, but it can be interesting to compare.

I like this one more.

Actually, I’ve been watching the view counts and reblogs on it. A lot of folks seem to feel that way.

I guess I will put it on the sidebar!

Edit: The first version is no longer on the music page. It can be found here.

I’m… not really sure how to approach this… I’ll just cut to the point. It sounds good, but I’m not sure if it would be better if I took more of a minimalistic approach.

You decide. During the outro I simplified things, it sounds more accurate, but it loses the verbosity it has when I play it properly during the majority of the main piece.

Source at the bottom is where I got the sheet music. I was about to give up searching when I ran across it! I was so thankful I had to mention him!

This is in celebration of my one thousandth post, which took place earlier today!

Like I said before, it’s nothing big. It’s just me and my lyre.
