1) Not really, at least not anymore. At this point only a few of the tumblrs I follow even post something everyday. At most I’m figuring ten-twenty posts each of like three tumblrs. Everything else is just intermittent. Which is a word that evidently has a T on the end of it. I did not know that.

2) Not a whole lot comes to mind. Around this time last year I was looking forward to Bladestorm: Nightmare, but that turned out to be a horrible port. I never even bought it with the money I had set aside.

I’m looking forward to XCOM 2. Even though the snake-lady thing is… so very stupid. The first one was great and this one is supposed to have much more weight to the choices you make in and out of battle. And with mod support!

The only other game has already come out, I’m just waiting/hoping for it to come to Steam. Earth Defense Force 4.1! I had a mild interest in the first EDF way back when, but this one looks phenomenal!

Can’t think of any upcoming movie that interests me.

1) What is this? This isn’t a good, honest, Celestia-fearing pun. This is something foul and disturbing. And probably Bubsy related, though I’m not sure how.

2) But elusive means hard to find, which can be synonymous with a thing or event that is a rarity. Butterscotch would make more sense opposite to Bon-Bon.

3) Every video game example I can think of is dark in some way. Which just tells me writers in that field for less mature audiences are lazy and patronizing.

Children’s cartoons seem to be advancing at least.

I don’t know. Christmas is still kinda new to me (even if some ponies shamelessly sold out). I don’t think a movie taking place during a holiday immediately makes it a holiday movie. I do like that one though! I don’t know even know the other movie.

I’ve seen A Christmas Story. That was pretty good.

1) Lyra: I’m not really in a position to ask “Hey, what was the exact thing you fire me for?“ I could try to sue for employee records on myself, but that’d probably go over as well as anything else.

Ribbon: Even if you tried, all you’d get in reply would be a generic “Inappropriate conduct in a public forum“ which is more than stretching the original terminology. This is why law makers should not also enforce the laws. Any time there’s a conflict you can be assured they’ll side with themselves.

1) Bon-Bon: They fired Lyra because of the content of her blog. Acting as a representative of the Equestrian Government means you can’t have publicly accessible information that they feel could create a negative image.

Bon-Bon: If they were emails or recorded conversations, then we’d have a clear case. Otherwise we’d have to prove that there’s nothing on Lyra’s blog that’s bad. And we all know that, if nothing else, there’s discussion of alcohol and links to songs with swears.

3) Well, I’ve been gifted D4, Fallout Tactics, Fallout: New Vegas, and Saints Row 2. I got near the end of Digital Devil Saga 1, but I got caught up in side quests and never even played the sequel. Then there’s Shadowrun: Hong Kong. XCOM 2, when it releases. If I could afford a better setup I have a friend that plays The Secret World (but the game overheats my computer), and another friend that plays ARK.

I never got to play all the different factions in Endless Legend, and haven’t even tried the expansions (even though I own one of them). I beat Dark Souls 2 twice and own the season pass, but I never tried the expansions there either. When I last played XCOM I had unlocked the stat and ability randomizers and I wanted to do a run (possibly with the Long War mod) where my soldiers were all tumblr followers, but there just never seems to be any time.

As always, if I can find a small Minecraft community I’d love to hop back on that.

6) Okay, real talk though? I don’t even like Shrek. The messages it presented may have been innovative at the time for a movie theater animation. But for comics, video games, even regular cartoons, not so much. Memes like “get shrekt” and “it’s ogre” are, to me, less ironic and more mockery. The only reason why they’re even notable is because the franchise has penetrated so deep into modern culture that they’re immediately recognizable.

On the other hoof, I’ve never seen Despicable Me or any related media outside of “He’s so fluffy! I’m gonna die!“ Which just makes me like the kid, not the Servbot wannabes.
