That being said, if you could learn to play another instrument, what would it be?

I’d love to be a little better with the sitar.

I’m not familiar with that piece, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s probably not made for a lyre player.
So to answer that, I’d need to know not only what that piece is, but what instrument I’m supposed to be playing in place of. The simplicity of the lyre makes it versatile for a number of rolls.

But specifically to my cutie mark?
I dunno. The lyre is sort of a simple instrument. No frets, only so many strings. And I can play the harp and the sitar a little.
Maybe I have a little talent with all string instruments. I’ve never tried, to be honest.
I guess having a cutie mark and completely understanding it are two different things.
Well, no. Because my actual name isn’t Lyra. It’s Liora.
When I got my cutie mark, I dropped the “o” and turned the ‘i’ into a “y”.
I thought it was clever.
You know? I haven’t really looked. Nothings happened to any of my instruments since I moved so I haven’t given it a second thought. I imagine so, I mean, that’s fairly standard, right?
Sitar, definitely. It has such a sweet sound! But I can’t play it very well.
I saw somepony play this one string instrument that you sit flat on the ground and play with picks and some kind of slide bar or somethin’. Now that sounded wild, but I’ve never tried one of those. Not even sure what it’s called.
Thanks!
I can play the harp a little too. And the sitar. Nothing too fast, though.
Glad someone got that joke from earlier (unless you skipped over it entirely).
Honestly? ‘cause as a filly harps were too big. My cutie mark represents settling for what’s tangible. Grand dreams are nice, but it’s always important to keep one hoof on the ground.
I was going to give you a serious answer, but meta powers kicked in before I could even start typing and told me to ask you ‘how do you type with boxing gloves on?’
I don’t really get it, but absurd comedy can be funny too, I guess.
Generally speaking.

That’s Rock, Jazz, Classical, Metal, and Ska.
Pop is okay now and again, too.
