Lyra: I come to a party to socialize, eat, and have fun. Not to work.
Bon-Bon: Lyra, why do you always do this?
Lyra: Do what? Complain about something stupid?
Bon-Bon: Complain about something when you had fun. You were laughing, and smiling, and having fun. The decorating was fun! All those things you came for you did while helping somepony decorate that massive foyer she inherited. You got to help somepony and enjoy yourself at the same time! What more could anypony ask for on Hearth’s Warming Eve?
Lyra: … Nothing… Though technically, it is after midnight.
2) Okay. Well, a foal got mad and spat in my face twice last Tuesday so if you’re trying to outdo me you’ve got an uphill battle if your chief complaint is wearing a suit.
3) I’m not contagious but I’m still pretty sick. Thanks! Bon-Bon made me some scrambled eggs for dinner. It’s not sitting on my stomach very well right now but that’s future Lyra’s problem.
4) Lyra: It was yesterday! Not as crazy as last year’s, though. There were so many explosions! But we had fun this year too.
Lyra: Today was Summer Wrap-Up, which I was well enough to participate in but sick enough to be exhausted now.
Bon-Bon: Are you kidding? This is when ponies start buying candy for Nightmare Night. If I only just began now I’d be dead-in-the-water by the time it comes around! Preparations for me begin at the start of August. Then I immediately have to begin working towards Hearth’s Warming. And by the start of December nearly all future chocolate production has to be for Hearts and Hooves.
Bon-Bon: My busiest time of the year is over half of the year. Time for relaxation and trying new recipes is long since over.
Okay, before it’s no longer holiday season at all, I wanted to tell this story.
Back in Canterlot, during the time I worked as an ambonic musician, I came upon some friends playing a game. The game was called Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. It looked incredible, so I bought a copy! I had over a hundred hours of fun with a truly challenging game. But when I moved to Ponyville, I lost my copy. I’d always intended to play through the game again, but money was tight so getting another copy was out-of-the-question.
Fast-forward to five days ago. Me opening up presents by myself because I was sick and everypony else was gone, and what do I find in a box labeled From Bon-Bon? Not only a brand new, unopened copy of Noctrune, the game I lost, but Digital Devil Sagas 1 and 2 as well! I was floored!
So this is me officially and publicly thanking Bon-Bon for a truly heartfelt and knowledgeable gift. Thanks, Bon-Bon! It’s awesome!
There is no way Bon-Bon is letting me keep that in the house. Hmm…. Maybe Krastos would want it… Thanks, though!
Merry Chr-… Wait what? Happy Hearth’s Warming!
Thanks, Rainbow! Unfortunately, I’m not getting to spend today with anypony. Bon-Bon went to do Hearth’s Warming with her cousin because I got Tootsie sick. She called a few hours ago to let me know she and Tootsie’s parents are all sick now too. And Sweetie’s with her family.
It’s just me and the dog here. I opened up some awesome presents, though. Can’t wait to get better and get everypony else some good stuff!
What a horrible Thanksgiving!
I just got a letter in the mail saying I’m not allowed to substitute at one of the primary schools anymore. The letter didn’t even say what for.
I don’t even know what I did wrong! Everything seemed to have gone fine! I mean, I accidentally left with one of the nametags, but couldn’t they have just contacted me about it if that was all?

I've been asked if I'm a wizard and that somepony I don't know loves me. That's kinda cool, I guess.
