Sorry I haven’t posted anything in a while. Not having many questions usually leaves me with time to work on other projects, but I haven’t really felt like doing anything. Things aren’t going so well career-wise.

1) Did you do that last year? I think somepony did.
Not any less creepy. I’m just a mare.
2) Blissfully. Better off not knowing. Because knowing about atrocities doesn’t help anything if you never had any chance of being involved, and lack the ability to change them.
But luck has little to do with it. All it really takes is knowledge that someone is watching you.
Safety goes up; freedom goes down.

1) Shoot. I knew I saved up too long.
2) This is usually where conversations about this lead. Even in Equestra. Ponies don’t talk about the seers. They don’t like them. A society doesn’t want to be monitored. Not because they are or aren’t doing anything wrong, but for fear of being called out on something. Alienated.
It’s always, “What if this? What if that?” But to directly address the question, nothing. The seers monitor vital signs, not thoughts. The only time anything would be done is if your vital signs indicate a potentially violent nature (which they evidently can tell).
I don’t know; it’s always been this way.
3) I severely doubt it, but I guess it’s possible. Even if it is, I don’t think it’s impact would ever pass outside of this website.
Maybe I’m just too busy focusing on the long term.
4) Very… different. Thanks for sharing!
5) It’s a great place to live. It’s beautiful. Calm. Any sort of attack is always repelled. Just, you know, bow before your princesses.
And it’s not like they aren’t worthy rulers. Just… here and there, you know?

1) Got a whole list of songs!
2) Great! A few more and I’ll get a free trip to the spa!
3) It doesn’t matter. Removing something offensive might make a few ponies feel better, but doesn’t change anypony’s mind on the subject. Worst case, it’s used as a martyr to carry on the ignorant and completely mangled notions of “free speech.”
At the very least, with Equestria not having freedom of speech, there’s no misunderstood representation of it.
4) Aw, my favorite was the N64 version. Sure did play that a lot at the game store.

1) I know, right? On my end it’s more like, “Yeah, I’m playing on the higher difficulty setting but, you know, it’s-it’s taking me a while to clear.” And this one time in particular-, “What are you even doing? 200 hours? And you’re only that far? I completely beat Disgaea in 80.” And I’m all like- da [omitted], dood? All I did was ask a question. Was that even called for?
2) Big enough that I don’t really care about it but have operational knowledge.
3) B: How and were I spend my limited free time is my business.
4) Well, I know Rarijack is. If Flutterdash is canon that would just leave Twipie. And I think we all know better than to ship Twipie.
As a disclaimer: this is a joke and I have no idea.
5) Well… It’s a group of unicorns who’s job is to offer their body and mind for six hours a day to a magical system that monitors vital signs for anomalies. They have no memory of anything they’ve witnessed, in order to maintain privacy.
But the story goes, they can tell the difference between a pony who’s upset about something from a pony who’s getting a rush from thinking about killing somepony. It’s why there’s so few premeditated murders in Equestria.
It’s been around for a while but after what happened in Canterlot it was expanded considerably. And after what happened with Cadance and the changlings they now monitor even the Princesses.

1) Don’t pokemon have personalities independent of their species? How would I answer this? I mean, I like Jolteon. Doesn’t mean I identify with it.
2) Maybe. Maybe events are manipulated a little to give the appearance that we’re more unified than we are. Maybe that manipulation causes ponies to subconsciously behave better; because their internal voice expects it of them. Maybe other nations fear our unwavering loyalty to one another, and what that could do if directed toward a threat.
Maybe.
3) Cooler than not having weapons? I guess so. But they’re also dangerous.
4) Thanks, but I sort of played that game to death. I appreciate the notification, though!
5) Everypony can be a chump now and again. Nopony’s perfect.
6) I knew about Matt, that’s how I found out about the show. But I hadn’t heard anything about Mike. That’s fantastic! Do you have any voice credits for him?

1) Sounds pretty farfetched.
2) Because they don’t need to know. It wouldn’t change anything.
3) Okay, okay. Unicorn magic wins wars. You sure do have some awesome ancestors, though!
4) Are you nuts?! It’s illegal for civilians to possess weaponry in Equestia!
5) Only if you believe hard enough and dig deep enough.
But grave robbery is a felony.
6) Don’t know the name; don’t got time to look it up. I’m answering these before I head into work and setting them in my morning post queue.
I bet you ponies think you're so better than than us.

Maybe, maybe not.
Seems to me your society has a lot more freedoms than ours. Plus, our taxes are pretty steep and all but necessitate having a job.
See, Equestria isn’t taxed on income like your society. We’re taxed on possession. The more you own, it’s assumed the more you make, and thus the more you owe. If you’re out of work, this will quickly eat away at everything you have left.
Both of our worlds still have intolerance toward race. Only ours also has intolerance towards other sapient species. These aren’t just people that look different or come from different backgrounds, they fundamentally are different. Paws instead of hooves, beaks instead of muzzles.
Both of our worlds have a problem with underage relationships, only ours in spades. Ponies don’t like to talk about it, but there are far too many that think it’s okay for a child and an adult, or two children to be in a romantic relationship. Some even go so far as to think it’s “cute.”
Even a Utopia has it’s share of problems. And all of that is ignoring the situation between us and the griffons.
