Oh no, @420characters! Some ne'er-do-well youth has desecrated our monumental county water tower! Who could have perpetrated this most heinous of crimes?
Wooooow, @askheartandviolet. There has most certainly been a misunderstanding, though. I was joking about the weapon thing. I didn’t think anypony claiming to be a warrior would be foalish enough to bring a weapon in a one-on-one against a unicorn. Even in a spar, where I’m supposed to go easy on you, that’d be far too unrealistic. But I guess that’s what happens when you remain close-minded to other fighting styles in your own blind overconfidence. Pardon the crude visual aids.
And this is just me and my limited magic. A more gifted unicorn would probably magnetize your claws to your armor so you couldn’t even stand up!
This is the entire reason why no division of the Equestrian Guard employs armed patrols! The use of weaponry in civilized combat is as archaic and backwards as your notions of training! The whole reason we’d spar hoof-to-hoof would be to give you the advantage! You’re faster, probably have more experience, and I hope would be in better shape.
And you can have the advantage because I don’t mind losing! Winning only reinforces what you already know. Losing is how you learn what to do different next time. I would have thought that to be a millennia old concept. But hey, you grew up sheltered and unexposed, and that’s not your fault. But remaining that way is.
Oh, and you can forget about the spar. You’re clearly beneath me. Even holding back I’d probably hurt you.
Well, I loved 3. Then Sonic Adventure was really cool. Then Sonic Adventure 2 was alright. The Sonic Advance series was okay. Then Sonic Heroes was horrid. Shadow the Hedgehog had an interesting concept, but ultimately the various mechanics didn’t function together and resulted in a lousy, clunky game. I never played another one.
But I always loved the characters! I loved Amy, and Tails, and Cream. And Big! Tikal and Chaos! And Rogue was awesome! Which is why I look at things like Sonic Generations and Sonic Boom and shake my head.
And that’s the problem. Different people like different things about Sonic. I liked the incorporation of different play-styles and storylines. Different perspectives and different characters. I don’t want to play as just Sonic, and I don’t want the characters rewrote into caricatures.
I don’t really pay attention to the series anymore. It’s lost all direction. But once upon a time… I mean I still have 75 pages, at size 10 font, of an unfinished fanfic that I ran as a game for years.

How I spent my last two evenings. (Warning: There’s some language. Had to say in character(s), after all.)
Okay, so think of it like a Pokemon. It’s like a chameleon with a scorpion stinger, only it has no poison on it’s own. It has to dip it’s stinger into the little pot on it’s back to coat the stinger in poison.
It rubs the poison off by stabbing the dirt a few times and then it can use the stinger for utilitarian purposes like pickin’ up food.

2) Little more time. I’m sort of waiting for something.
3) Oh, gosh. There’s so many. I’ll just pick my favorites from each kingdom. Pang Tong from Shu, Zhang He from Wei, Taishi Ci from Wu, Sima Shi from Jin, and Meng Huo among the other factions.
Wu’s my favorite side, though. I got so many favorites in Wu. And oh my Cels! We finally get to play as Lu Su! And Li Dian! And Zuo Ci from 5 is coming back! And every character has their own weapon plus the weapon switch system from 7 on top of that! There’s 70 characters! That’s 70 different weapons! 70 different fighting styles!
I will say I was a little surprised to see Lu Su playable, but not Cheng Pu. Maybe he’ll be playable in the next one.
4) I’m so stoked! I shouldn’t have read so much about it! I can’t stand the wait!
