I know it sounds good on paper to just let her choose. But Sweetie Belle isn’t a dog or some other kind of pet. She isn’t just going to adapt to whatever her surroundings are.

Sweetie’s still young and inexperienced. She doesn’t necessarily know what’s best for her. She might know what she wants, but wants and needs almost never overlap.

Nevermind the mental trauma being forced to make such a decision would put on her. How do you choose between family and friend? How do you justify the… um… unavoidable? Unavoidable truth that in picking one, you deny the other?

Undeniable, that’s what I meant to say…

No. As callus as it sounds, she doesn’t need to be involved in this decision. She’s fragile and that’s not fair to make her choose.

All I can say, is that if Sweetie lives with me and Bon-Bon, I will make sure that Rarity is still a part of her life.
