Of course not. There are plenty of pharmaceutical products that save and elongate lives everyday. Everypony knows that.
‘Don’t do drugs’ is a simple saying that’s short and sweet while also getting to the point. A full explanation would take a paragraph at least.
That’s not very catchy.
