Answers after the break. Post turned out too long.
But I wanted to say hello to my new followers! Salu~t!
1) Why does that sound familiar?
2) Okay. Thanks!
3) Trading stories for sponge-baths?
4) Porta-potty, I guess. I don’t really do those TMI things, though.
5) Believe it or not, I might be able to help you there, if you’re willing to start behaving. I know some ponies.
Could get you a room of your own with your own private bathroom to return to after rehabilitation classes everyday. Maybe even lessen the sentence.
6) Epic.
7) That just… Still seems a little odd to me. It’s one thing to sit on your back, but for my boyfriend to pull me around in a sled?
I mean, if it’s what you want to do, I’m down. Seems like it would put you in a demeaning position, though.
8) Certainly.
9) Sounds like a punk rock band.
10) Okay. But the next time I flush you, that toilet paper had better go down.
It’s completely normal to talk to your toilet, right?
11) Are you kidding me? Of course “Because Earthbound!” What a tremendous game! And at a time where tremendous games where everywhere, it still stood head and shoulders above the rest! To this day, the only thing I missed in that game was that super rare bat that would drop off of the Kraken pallet swap toward the end. I didn’t know the three Kraken you fought wouldn’t respawn.
Favorite part? Finally collecting the Eight Melodies, which is why I did that track. I wanted to do more than just the thirty second version, but that was my favorite part. That’s what it was all building up to after you got the first one. You slowly got to learn it, step-by-step. And by the time you got the last section, you already knew how it ended before you even heard it all together. It was in your heart- in your soul. If you ever played through the game, you will forever remember that short little chunk of digital genius.
And after that? Well, after that is when things get weird. And for Earthbound, that’s saying something.
