You draw your bow string back and let fly an arrow toward the giant. You really need practice; you couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. Fortunately, the giant is bigger than a barn and you strike it in the hoof. It pulls its leg back in pain, before seeing where the shot came from.
You don’t have much time to react, the giant shadow is now headed toward you.
