1) Having known Fancy Pants for a while, I can say that they are two very different ponies.

Fancy Pants is more like Good Guy Greg. Boscov is more like… Mister Magoo, only without the blindness.

You know what? I’m going to take that back right away. He’s not like Mister Magoo, I just can’t think of anypony to compare him with.

2) That’s not a strange stance to take. The real Jedi didn’t care about the whole light side/dark side thing, they were all about peace by any means and “being one with the force.” If the Sith weren’t all about growing through physical conflict and death, some Jedi could have feasibly sided with them in order to usher in eventual peace. The whole “Jedi are light side” thing came about because the Sith are freakin’ nuts!

If all of the universe was on the fringe of becoming sedated and melancholy at the cost of true free will, no real Jedi would try to stop it.
