Actually the better use I could have put it to is saving it for next semester seeing as I have about 250 left and no job. But it is the first time I've had any amount of money over $20 so I think I was excited abouthaving it. Also I have no clue what saving account is.

It’s a place to put your money where it accrues additional value by the bank investing the money in other places.

I think it costs a little to open one up, I don’t remember.
