Why did everypony panic about Princess Luna being Nightmare Moon if it was already known that she became Luna again? Heck, everypony in town all celebrated that she turned back to normal and Celestia returned that one day, didn't they?

She was a lot more intimidating the second time around.

And, I mean, did you see her entrance? Astride bat-winged pegesi? That was straight out of a monster movie!
