actually what i do is remain blissfully unaware that anything is wrong until the other party hates me for it, and by that time i realize and just stop caring. so maybe you shouldn't follow my advice
Sounds like that soccer player I dated.
I made some good friends with some of his teammates, and in the end I had to sever those relationships because of breaking up with him.
