Kraftwerk's early stuff is a bit more classically-based. Dig some of the stuff from the first three albums. My favorite of that era is "Ruckzuck". ((Your meta-powers may or may not kick in on that one.))
Did ponies really just sit down and listen to music like this before video games? I can only imagine listening to something like that while fighting Lavos or something.
