It is good for the humility to remember that no matter what, I shall die one day, just as my parents did, and just as the dragon did. It does not make me sad, it reminds me every day that my life itself is worthless, the value comes from what I do with it.
And I’m sure explaining that to every horrified house guest makes for a lovely conversation.

Well, Expense is not a problem. And as for the skull, It was the dragon that killed my parents. I hunted him down and avenged them. The skull Stays.
See, that’s part of that dark, depressing, terrifying motif that makes me weary. Why would you ever want to look at that anyway? It’d just drag up sad memories, wouldn’t it?

Bright tapestries and modern lighting, I would think. It sure can get expensive to furnish a tower. I’d never want to own one!

Maybe give them flower wreaths? Certainly never paint them.

Maybe get some of those vines that have flower blooms to grow down the side of it.

I live just down the street from Miss Sparkle, in the Stone Tower. I thought it was a rather dramatic looking home. I like it.
That place is creepy and terrifying, I prefer the other option.
