Okay… This piece isn’t getting done tonight…
I just got word from Sweetie Belle, and I know she’s going to need time to practice. Also, I’m pretty sure I’m going to need yet another guitarist…
And if this is being pushed back anyway… I’m thinking maybe a live performance might be possible.
If that happens, it probably won’t be done tomorrow either. I still need to recalibrate the sound because my lyre is coming in too loud later on in the piece when other insturments should be overshadowing it.
Anyway… blah blah blah delays.

You know what? That may be all I need. The core drumline seems pretty rudimentary so far. I don’t know how complicated it will get yet, but if it loops I only need one good take and I can just splice the rest of it together in post!

Well… I was going to rush out a short teaser for the next piece I’m doing, but just as I had the few seconds of recording down. The program crashed and I lost it.
So… Instead of putting down a few seconds now and being unable to upload anything until after midnight tomorrow, I’ll just keep working on it.

I was about a third of the way into setting the song out. Bassline, drum section and all, and the program I was transcribing in crashed again and I’m back near the beginning. No drums, no bassline…
I’m about to cry…
