Can I get an idea of what was so bad about it? Too tangential? Too fast? Sound running together? (Luna forbid) Too unrecognizable?
Okay, I think I found my backbone in a corner.
When Gilda initially came over for a recording, she was kinda buzzing. I couldn’t really get her to play by the piece by-the-book for a while. The result was some pretty gnarly stuff, but most of it I had to discard because it went too far off on a tangent of its own.
I did manage to fit some of it in, though! And that’s what you’ll start hearing here and there about halfway into the piece!
Thanks again to Gilda for the guitar work. And also Star Catcher this time for providing recorder support during the refrain! Much richer sound than guitar alone!
Is this okay? Or would everypony prefer to hear pieces performed by-the-book?

I am not submitting that.
That… thing is up there with screamo on my list of noise that should never have been. Let alone considered music.
And I might get some flak for that statement (mostly the screamo part, I can’t imagine anypony actually liking that… I’m not calling it a song), and that’s fine. But remember that it’s just my opinion in music.
besides, "ripping it up like that" makes you fingers 1.raw 2. full of calus 3. smell weird. ask gilda, (even though i don't like her that much)
Gilda’s a delightful lady when you give her some space! I don’t know why every pony has such a strong stigma against her…
But if I could play like that, it would be with magic, so no danger of that for me. I just can’t focus fast enough to shift my grasp all over the place.
I want to try guitar; Marty gave me one. But I’ll stick with the lyre for now.

I take some text, highlight it, and use the hyperlink tool (the one that looks like chains locked together). Then I find the link I want to use and paste it into the box that opens up and hit +insert. Then I hit the HTML button (which opens up a new window) and copy the section that has the code for the link.
Open up the customize window and hit info, then paste it into the description!

My goodness! You can play that?! I don’t know that Gilda could play that!
It’s not that hard to play something like that actually, but it does take practice to get the song down. He is very good though, I like this. I know a pony that can play the banjo, I don’t understand how he does that. He is part of a Bluegrass band, and to watch them play is amazing.
