I don’t really have very sensitive taste buds. Around the time I started this tumblr thing Bon-Bon made truffle muffins. She said they were amazing, but I only thought they were okay.

I know you do, Gilda! But you do seem to lean more towards hard rock, so if I knew the genre, I’d pick a piece from there if I was going to try.

Uh… that’s difficult on two accounts.

One, music is very personal. I could try to pick something and end up completely off the mark.

Two, Mint and Gilda seem to like ‘hard rock’, I think they call it. I’m not such a fan, so I don’t really have too much knowledge about it. With me, it either has to be rock, or metal.

Or grunge or ska.

The dragon at least has a box to stand on. There isn’t really anything we could do for such a large creature on a reliable bases.

I’m with Lyra on this. Every day your species has on this world is a gift from our Goddess. Don’t ever forget that. Complain and whine about the manifest destiny of the Equine species, curse and spit at us all you want, but always keep the fact that you’re only alive so long as Celestia permits it close to your heart.

I just tape a pick to the edge of my hoof when playing my lyre manually. I imagine a guitar player would just use magic on the frets, or their wings.

I have no Equestrian idea how an earth pony would do it, but they always seem to find a way.

I’ve never really paid attention to whether Gilda plays with her talons or a pick.

It really isn’t very good. I noticed it when I listened to the finished product before uploading it. But it’s nice that you’re trying to spare my feelings.

And I know what you’re trying to get it. I’m not discouraged. This was bound to happen eventually.

Yeah… I noticed that… Unfortunately my lyre was the cause (I played bass). The original chiptune used more varied sounds. I think that’s the problem.

I could try and quieten things down on the bass side and upload it again while I’m working on something else, but I think that first problem is the major one. And there isn’t really anything I can do to solve it.
