Sorta points to a more profound problem, but no, not immediately relevant.
Tubular.
No shame and no tact are a difficult mix to watch.
I’ve been there.
Fun to play, but watching it all I can think of is “I could do better.”
I tots would!
It’s not the same game, though. If you go into it expecting it to be the same, heavily structured, weighed down stat building system from the first game, you’re going to be disappointed.
The sneaking mechanic involves modern stealth-action mechanics, not just crouching everywhere until you can sneak-run (though you can get that ability). Regular prolonged ranged combat is cover-based. You can’t just stand out in the open and take shots like it’s happy hour at your local bar. A only a few hits and you will die, even on normal mode. But it just makes it all that much more rewarding when a plan comes together.
The augmented persuasion system (get it right away) manages to be pretty interesting. You have a bunch of stuff to monitor at once so you aren’t just sitting there doing nothing, waiting for a dialog branch to open.
The multi-path system that, to me is the whole point of the game, is still very much alive. You want to get into an area? Bust through a wall, pass through a gas leak, jump on some rooftops, sneak through a vent, steal something, talk your way in, or just blow everypony the hay up!
That said, I didn’t think the second Deus Ex was a bad game. But I totally think this is better than the first.
You should.
Sorry this is kinda boring right now. Just me wondering around hacking stuff and talking to ponies. At least the augmented persuasions system is kinda cool looking, right?
Sorry, not really that interested. Still playing Deus Ex.
Which you know, you’re still here.
Unless City of Ponies comes out with a sequel, I’ll probably be done with MMOs once that’s over with.
Hadn’t heard about it.
Kinda Fable meets… something that did quick time events that wasn’t God of War.
…
Resident Evil 4 or 5 maybe?
Used to play WoW. Was alright for a time. I prefer City of Ponies.
Recently found out my WoW account got hacked, actually.
Didn’t care.
Gracious!
Stay warm!
Lyra, thank you very much for posing; quite cute. I hope the rest of your week goes better than today has.
This pony is so awesome! How can anypony get these things done so fast?!
You’re welcome.
Even when I’m not in a great mood, at least I can still laugh.
Probably when I got my cutie mark.
I was a wreck before and after the performance. But when my teacher was handing out awards and I got most improved… Celestia, that felt good…
And of course, when I got home and noticed I had my cutie mark, even more so! Not having to wear a dress anymore to hid my flank was great too!
Probably a little selfish, but yeah. Couldn’t ask for more on that day.
