They were both serious. one of them was Legend of the fist: return of Chen Zhen, the other was Ong Bak 3. they're both serious. the first one had way more action than the second though, but the first one is about history.

Ah.

I prefer comedy. Comedies are pretty much the only movies I can sit through and enjoy.

no, i could just ignor them. but better than no questions at all, huh?

I suppose.

Sometimes.

It's okay, I understand. We can get together on weekends to hang out!! I ended up watching a few martial arts movies at my friend's party. it's really awesome. Talk to you tomorrow! (though you might get it the next day in which case, talk to you later!)

What kind of martial arts movie? Serious or comedy?

lyra! how's it going? fill me in on today!! let's hang out sunday's okay, even monday's good

Nothing too heavy. Went fishing for junk with Mister Special Agent York. Finished up a recording.

Oh! I picked up a manedroid on the way home! I decided that would be more useful than constantly borrowing Bon-Bon’s ipony.

I’ll be working Monday through Friday. No offense, but I’m not going to want to entertain guests when I get home.

Just finished.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t just sit still and listen to the thing. I was posting and reading.

But it was nice music to listen to while you got things done. Aside from the occasional misplaced lyric. Would have enjoyed it more if it were purely instrumental.

Yep! In fact, I still do, sometimes! Though often I now listen to music while working on other things. But sometimes music like Kraftwerk just grabs you. Or at least it does me. (Also, the entire _Autobahn_ album is amazing. If you look up the title track, find the LP version of the song... which is ~23 minutes. But it goes by super quick.)

Usually I wait until I’ve at least heard most of the piece before posting about it. Obviously not going to happen this time.

I certainly like the pace of the bass in the first minute or so.

Edit: Digging the direction it’s going at around five minutes.

Kraftwerk's early stuff is a bit more classically-based. Dig some of the stuff from the first three albums. My favorite of that era is "Ruckzuck". ((Your meta-powers may or may not kick in on that one.))

It’s… interesting.

Did ponies really just sit down and listen to music like this before video games? I can only imagine listening to something like that while fighting Lavos or something.

Trans Europe Express. Though I am a little offended by you calling them "techno". They started out as Krautrock and became more Snythpop later on.

I’ve never heard of krautrock, sorry. I don’t claim to know everything about music, certainly not from genre’s before my time.

Sounds very ol’ skool Sonic the Hedgehog. Like, Sonic 1.

I think the slower beat really helps compared to the one I linked to.

How about Kraftwerk?

I hadn’t heard of them either.

Sounds a little techno for my tastes, but it’s alright.

Got a recommendation for them too?

"That sounds... interesting... I suppose. It must be... exciting? -Anon" and speaking of anons, they are starting to anoy me by trying to "call me out" on a bunch of stuff

I’ve seen. They’re pretty mean.

You could turn anon questions off.

It’s a thing. Was something to get out and do, and I could still check my tumblr while we were doing it.

151 plays

This one is pretty tailor-made for a lyre, so I wanted to make it something special.

Two loops through the piece. The second one is something of an arrangement. Not much of one, but it’s far from identical. In the end, still kinda short, but I certainly put some hours into it.

Hope you all enjoy!

Um... just an observation... but... what exactly is the point of fishing? We're vegetarian... we don't eat them... so why catch them? -Anon

We were fishing for junk.

Cards, boxes, shoes; things like that.

ok, just, never mind. keep in mind that pple who care tend to defend.

And I appreciate it. Thank you!
