Once upon a time, there was a mare named Freta, who played the fretboard. She didn't have any parents, she met trouble every day, and had come to view these times with regret. One day Freta moved to a small-town named HorseTown with her friend, Teja. Freta still took looks behind on her past, but she kept going. Now she looks after a filly named Spicy Ring, and a love named Manos the dissolver-creator. She can't go back, but she's embracing the future, working for a better tomorrow.

Heh heh…
You’re alright, anon.
you know, you always have such smart, long, intellectual answers, it's nice to find a blog that isn't all about attention, you seem to know what your talking about, so i'm here to let you know, your an awesome pony, even with all these other anons annoying you i'm sure, but at the same time, you keep the anon questions open... now that's love and tolerance if I've ever seen it.

Well, thank you.
I’m sure there are other pages better than mine, though. Ones with good drawings and such.
My apology, Miss Lyra. That wasn't meant as insult or disregard of your organisation. It's just me that I've managed to missed it. I'm very sorry about that. I'll try to look closer next time.

Okay.
In that case, thanks for trying! I’m just used to ponies not even trying.
Lyra? That's an odd choice for in instrument. What made you pick it instead of something more... Conventional; Like cello or guitar?

Can I tell you a happy story?

Anonymous
Go ahead! I love happy stories!
permission to give you a hug?
Granted.
But not for too long. I’m in between working on a recording.
You know… There are just certain things that you can’t quite ever build up a resistance to…
Tell me a happy story with a happy ending that has you in happiness.

Heh heh… Aren’t a whole lot of those…
…
I can’t think of any right now that I haven’t talked about before, or haven’t happened recently.

Once upon a time…
…
Once upon a time there was a guard…
…
He saved my life…
I talked to him. It gave me something to do; somewhere to be that wasn’t so dangerous….
…
He was one of those ponies I offered it to. But he declined. He was… virtuous. In a sense I couldn’t comprehend at that age. At that point in my life.
…
[Tap] [Tap] [Tap]
They killed him… Broad daylight, they came for him. And he still managed to save me…
[Sniff]
…
And all I could do was run…
Do you have any friends-with-benefits?

Anonymous
No.
…
[Audible sigh]
Growing up, there were a few times, but it was never on any regular basis.
…
Looking back, I don’t even know if it was a mistake or not. I just wanted to give back to a few stallions that really helped me out. It was offered as a gift, and they accepted…
…
[Audible sigh]
Yeah, I know what that makes me… But I will never do it again.
now tell me lyra, what hurts the most? is it being so close and having so much to say? tell me, how does this make you feel...

Let me see if I can get this right…
It’s hard to deal with the pain of losing you everywhere I go. But I’m doing it. It’s hard to force that smile when I see our old friends and I’m alone.
Still Harder.
Getting up, getting dressed, living with this regret. But I know if I could do it over. I would trade, give away, all the words that I saved in my heart that I left unspoken.
Sorry. Those words don’t quite mean to me what they may mean to you.
My fave rage face is yours, Lyra.
