I would be happy to read anything you write, Lyra! I could also help proofread and offer suggestions for revision if you’d like, but editing a first draft is a long ways off unless you’ve been working on something already. Either way, good luck!

1) Bat works just as well and is infinitely less convoluted to attain.

2) The main problem is if anypony would be willing to pay to read something I write.

Thanks, though!

Actually, I am a fairly experienced writer. I’m a little rusty, but I’ve been doing it on and off for years. I even presented once at a writer’s conference and my piece was generally accepted as being one of the two best ones. And the author of my favorite (he wrote a faux-nonfiction story from his perspective about an event when he was a baby. The thought process he portrayed-It was amazing.) said he thought mine was the best.

The trouble is, being an author is risky. It’s up there with panning for gold on the list of unreliable income jobs. I’m absolutely terrified.

You’re right, though. First major project I had was a Sonic the Hedgehog fanfiction. It… had it’s moments. But in the end it had bugger all to do with Sonic.

I’m sorry, I meant to say “Maybe that would help me.” I’m sorry, Lyra.

It’s alright, Boscov. I just never really thought about it before and I’m a little worried.

We got into a fight about my job. Conversation went all over the place for about half-an-hour. Don’t really want to talk about it.

Evidently I’m not going to be substitute teaching anymore and I’m going to start writing a book. Good luck to me…

Yeah, maybe that would me.

1) Interesting name.

2) I’ve been better. Bon-Bon and I had it out earlier today.

I feel even worse about it because she bought me some Zap-Apple Jam on Monday.

3) Now you’re just messin’ with me.

image

1) She just up and disappeared. Noticed I hadn’t seen her in a few days, and days turned into months.

2) Somepony says something unsettling and I’m not allowed to worry?

I’ve been having problems remembering things since I was a cub. …I think…

Maybe Sweetie and I should be playing those memory games with you too.

1) Well… I mean my memory isn’t all that-…

Oh dear…

2) Uh…

3) All the better to hear your text with, my dear.

4) I miss Gilda… Also, I’d love to see that scene with Spike.

On harth warmers eve your windigo means cold hart and hatred, mine is a canibalistic sperit that eats flesh and bone in the woods. wired right ?

I’m… sorry?

I don’t even believe in that windigo stuff. I think that part of the story was just added in to drive home the moral that if we don’t get along, we’ll all die.

Hey Lyra, just wanted to let you know that Shooting Star was born last night. She is a beautiful foal. :3

I heard! Congratulations!

Happy to have that experience over, I assume? Being pregnant must be hard.

1) Well, I don’t know that they’d count as jokes.

I mean no.

2) Oh yeah. I’ve never heard that one before. Got any bear/bull market jokes to toss around while we’re forging through new and untamed areas of comedy?

3) Not sure why you’d ask. Are you expecting me to say no?

I’m not sure how you and Krastos actually spent your New Year’s Eve in Manehattan but I drew the two of you embracing moments before a kiss at the drop of Midnight. It doesn’t look quite the way I wanted it to but at least Krastos looks better than the last time I tried drawing him, poor guy.

Actually, we did kiss!

This is amazing! Thanks for sending it so I could post it!

1) I would say not, but I have no idea what your life’s goals are. Maybe you’re right on track?

2) Not overly. I suppose one of us has to be, though.

3) Yeah, I’m alright. Definitely will be working Wednesday and Thursday.

4) I would like to take this time to remind everyone that just pointing me to a video of the track does me no good. I need the sheet music, and that’s what the submit function is for.

Fortunately, Chrono Cross’s sheet music isn’t exactly hard to find, so it wasn’t an issue this time. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s anything I could do to match what a full orchestra is capable of.

She’s doing alright; no complaints here or at school. I’m wondering if my somewhat devious disposition isn’t rubbing off on her, though. I got a call two days ago from Granny Smith saying the girls were trying to pass Applebloom off as being sick, but I don’t know who was responsible.

You’re free to ask whoever you want whatever you want. I doubt your voice will reach my world’s Princess Celestia, though.

1) Caffine.

I read that you’d have to drink like twenty sodas a day to be clinically addicted to it, but that does little to ease my irritated mind when I have to go without one.

2) I may have bought her a pet for Christmas that I gave to her when Boscov and I got back from our trip.

3) Had to look this one up for a bit. Would have helped if you hadn’t included the one at the beginning.

Pony culture has no concept of an Antichrist, because we have no Christ. From what I can gather, 666 was probably just code to refer to some Human Emperor named Nero anyway.

4) Well, I usually only get drunk when I’m trying to block out horrible memories. So I’m probably a weepy drunk.

1) Stop questioning his hygiene!

2) It’s alright, Strawberry. To be honest, I’ve gotten used to it. I actually worry a little if I haven’t heard from you in a day or two.

3) Let me know the rules, and I’ll let you know if there’s something I can compare it to.

Insert Wink.

4) My Celestia doesn’t have a tumblr. She’s entirely too busy for that sort of thing.

5) I did that once in Spore. It was pretty cool at first. Toward the end it got repetitive.

Actually, I sorta want to play it again. That and Bladestorm.
