Ask Lyra

Jul 25

roboshi-deactivated20160514 asked: Oh my word yes it is empty, and it is that emptyness that motivates a god to create the star systems and Galaxies. It keeps us busy.

-Galaxiour

Well… I guess everypony needs a hobby…

roboshi-deactivated20160514 asked: Well yes, before me and my wife worked on the spell to generate small pockets of atmoshere around ourselves we heard nothing in the vacuum of space with no air to carry the sound.

Still the veiw in space more than makes up for it.

-Galaxiour

Sounds… stark and empty.

roboshi-deactivated20160514 asked: I met two actually, they both didn't make much sense so I just ignored them. You'd be surprised how much debis there is out there.

-Galaxiour

I’ve heard space is really quiet, is that true?

askstarcatcher-deactivated20111 asked: You never know if you never try.
Stupid, overused saying.
But you have ponies that will kill if any harm comes to you.
We're here for you, Lyra :\
I say go for it, when you're ready.
But you don't have to take my advice, you're a much stronger pony than I am.
Just food for thought.

This isn’t a matter of trying something like jump-rope and failing. I’m at least semi-comfortable with where things are right now. But if… and things don’t turn out so well, there’s no going back.

I just don’t want to be letdown again…

I don’t think shipping is classy at all. But that’s just my opinion.

Also, messages with swears get put at the bottom of my priority list for responses.

arbor-viridanus asked: What is this "shipping" and do I need to worry about it? ._.

Short for relationshipping, or the act of putting two ponies in a romantic relationship through the ‘art’ of literature.

Unless you worry about the decline of the written word, no.

roboshi-deactivated20160514 asked: Ah yes, well lets just say there are not many dictionaries in space.

-Galaxiour

Have you met that little metal orb that keeps talking about space? I keep hearing about it here and there.

thegreengoo-blog-blog-blog asked: You have a point with the anon's social recognition skills, the data doesn't lie. *hands Lyra a notebook full of scribbles*

Asterisks don’t equal actions, but I’ll take your word for it.

Anonymous asked: ...with all that has been said about your past, do you plan on taking any action with Blues or let the oppurtunity slide you by?

It’s not any of your business…

Anonymous asked: are you sure its not a date?

I’m never one hundred percent on anything. But I can be fairly certain.

iamonlykidding-deactivated20150 asked: I don't think we've ever been shipped, actually.

I wouldn’t know, to be honest.

roboshi-deactivated20160514 asked: Oh there is no need for formalities. I am meerly searching this collection of logs in search of meriment.

-Galaxiour

Okay, in that case you spelled merely and merriment wrong. The merriment thing I’d chalk up to just common error, but a lot of ponies misspell merely like that. Just in case you were curious…

Your majesty…

Anonymous asked: Lyra and Twilight, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.

Only in your depraved little fanfiction.

Which brings me to a greater point, why are you ponies writing stories about us and drawing us?

iamonlykidding-deactivated20150 asked: I asked you out on a date?

No, you asked me if I wanted to hang out and get some food.

Anons have poor social recognition skills. It’s why they’re anons.
