rennysama-deactivated20160409 asked: Ah love yuh music!
Thank you! It’s nice to hear every now and again! I really work hard to get stuff out in a reasonable time-frame.
I thank my followers by trying my best to give them a reason to keep following!
askgildagriffon replied to your post: I’m watchin’ you, fella… Hey! Hey! No! Don’t…
I Heard The Last Time This Happened You Cried. Tell Me That Isn’t True.
It was an expensive cake!
And it’s not happening again!

I’m watchin’ you, fella…

Hey!
Hey!
No!
Don’t you dare!
…
I will squish you if you even try!
ask-drwhooves-deactivated201203 asked: Will (or have) you ever partnered with DJ-P0N3?
Not really into techno. I know she likes other things too, but I’m not sure what else she plays.
I would give it a try, but she’s a little beyond me. Same with Octavia.
It’s not like I’m well-known or anything. There are tons of ponies that don’t even realize I’m a musician.
askstarcatcher-deactivated20111 asked: Lyra, I know I've already said this to you, but if you ever feel the need to talk or anything, please don't hesitate.
I must sound like a broken record here, but please. Anything you need, I'm here.
Thank you, Star. I’m okay, though.
Is there anything on your mind? Are you well?
askbasilthedragon asked: I enjoy your music, teal pony.
Continue to make more.
Will do! But probably not today… Last night wore me out…
I didn’t talk about it, but something fudged with the recording last night. See, I play the intro whistle at ninty bpm, that’s beats per minute. But the rest of the piece is played at eighty bpm. I have no idea how, but something screwed up and the core of the piece would playback at ninty bpm after I recorded it! Which is entirely too fast and made it sound horrible! I was flipping out!
I had to rerecord the whole thing, section by section to get it at eighty like it was supposed to be.
rainbowdash-answers asked: Hey Lyra.. don't lose your trust towards us this may sound odd but i do trust you!
Well thank you! I hope I haven’t given any reasonable pony cause to distrust me! Just because I might be a little different on the inside doesn’t change who I choose to be.
unicyclistperiscopes asked: Why Don't You Like Swearing?
I (Try To) Self Censor Myself On My Page Because I Know A Few Foals Are Following Me And So I Don't Want To Warp Their Precious Little Minds But I Love Swearing In Real Life.
Oh, I can get into a swearing storm if I’m angry or excited. Just not when children are around.
But the internet is different. Given the substantial time increase between interactions, one should be capable of articulating themselves in a dignified manner.
I definitely can’t talk like this face-to-face. Not enough time to think things through.
Anonymous asked: Whatever happened with Blues? He move away or something?
I don’t know… I followed his page ever since the night he started it… He hasn’t updated in a while… And I haven’t seen him around Ponyville…
Maybe he’s off with his band…
anon-pony-blog asked: I suppose. But that seems to defeat the purpose of trust.
What is trust? It’s just being able to depend on somepony, right? If I act a certain way for a long time and suddenly change, wouldn’t you trust me long enough to justify it?
But, going in another direction, if you pretend to be somepony long enough, that becomes who you are. At least as far as anypony can tell. And all that will ever matter to anypony else is who you appear to be. Nopony can precieve you any other way, so what’s the difference?
This is why I’ve always had a problem with the idea of ‘being yourself’. Yourself isn’t what you want it to be, it’s whatever everypony else sees you as. Your opinion about who you are is only your opinion, and it’s far outweighed by everypony else’s.
That’s an awful strange comment to come from somepony who carries such an ambiguous moniker, by the way.
Anonymous asked: The machine is limited by both its size and the rare material it uses to make things.
And that’s why it would be so much more dangerous here.
Anonymous asked: May I ask what you meant by the machine being terrifying, and how do you know so much about it?
I don’t know much about the machine. Only what I saw.
But I know about its equivalent in magic. I know a pretty good deal about magic theory. But I can’t talk about most of it.
anon-pony-blog asked: Do you ever get the feeling that nopony knows who you truly are?
Yes.
But I don’t want anypony to know that. So it’s a good thing. If ponies like who I appear to be, that’s close enough as long as I’m consistant, right?
Anonymous asked: I'm not the same anon that asked you about the problem between you and spergy mcgoodpony, but isn't Mr. Rogers a genuinely good person?
I’ve only heard of the show, but I’ll assume that Mister Rogers was portrayed in a positive light. I’ll even grant, however impossible it may be, that he was without flaw. That doesn’t change the fact that it was just an actor. The actual pony had just as many faults as any well-adjusted individual, give or take.
queenfrau asked: Yup, that's the insanity of this place.
I don’t much care for it. I’d like to live a calmer, simpler life.
