Ask Lyra

Aug 22

tundragale-blog asked: *barks happily and sniffs at your Lyre*

Nonono! Stay outside the window! I don’t want to have to close it!

tundragale-blog asked: *A white wolf approaches. A chain collar is around its neck, with three more chains wrapped around its body. It sits and stares at Lyra, its tail wagging happily* [Bark!]

I know my playing could be better, but I didn’t think it would attract dogs!

Anonymous asked: Well I mean taking a life is never easy, especially if it's blood related.

Seriously not talking about this.

You Really Responded To That? I Bet Twi 5bits You Wouldn’t! Why Lyra! Why?

I don’t know! I don’t know why I’m doing any of this! I’m super super behind now! I haven’t even finished the first page of this side piece and I was a full day behind on my larger project yesterday!

ask-lightningdelrotronic-deacti asked: GIMME A WORD, YOU TEAL UNICORN.

Oh for Celestia’s sake…

Bequeath.

No more requests please!

Weak.

I prefaced that with ‘I’m not a wordsmith!’ What do you want from me?!

ask-zig-deactivated20110826 asked: I can has word?

Uh… Um… I’m not really a wordsmith or anything…

Uh…

Mezzo-soprano?

Anonymous asked: Well, I've had to kill or be killed several times so I can probably imagine what the past staring at you would look like. Those feeling of regret and sorrow looking deeply into your soul, knowing that your alive when you should have died many many years ago.

I’m sorry to hear that. It’s a hard decision to make.

But these scars run deeper than that. And I still don’t want to talk about it.

askzulwaythegodofmercy-blog asked: Questioning my attempt at an apology breaks one of Zulway's twelve tenets of mercy, prepare for destruction.

Whatever, dude.

If you can’t play nice, I’ve got work to do. And it’s already getting super late.

theblackstrawberry asked: I'm free tomorrow! If your practicing, let me come over and listen! T___T I will pay any amount to just be able to sit in!

That’s right. You were supposed to be here today, right?

Just as well that you didn’t make it, I’ve been super busy and have only just started working tonight. Probably won’t finish.

Tomorrow should be fine.

askzulwaythegodofmercy-blog asked: Would you like to hear a song by my large woodwind friend?

Didn’t you threaten to kill me recently because you thought harps were better than lyres?

I’m not sure if I do or not. Is that some kind of innuendo?

It can’t be that bad, can it?

I… don’t even want to talk about this anymore…

Scratch that, I never like talking about this.

Ever.

Trust Me Lyra Nothing You Could Say You’ve Done/Had Happen Could Shock Me. What I Imagine You’ve Done Is Probably Far Worse Than The Truth And I Don’t Judge You For It.

You may be the only one that wouldn’t turn against me, Gilda. You would be disguised, but you might, might not hate me for it.

I can help you learn to time travel if you really want, though. Just saying.

Please see the enclosed.

You can say that now; you can’t picture me doing anything bad enough to warrant such an extreme change. But like you said, the past is set in stone. It will always be there staring me in the face if I ever look back.

That’s why I just try to live right here.
