cranberry-scotch-replies asked: That's nice, but I'm more of a K-T kind of gamer. My favorite game series is Legend of Zelda. In fact, I was planning on doing a run-through of the game with a cheat active that caused even the slightest amount of damage done to Link be lethal. Sad to say the cheat cut out half-way through the game.
Blah…
Link to the Past and Link’s Awakening were great. Ocarina of Time was fine. I knew it wasn’t going to be the huge deal everypony was making it out to be, but whatever.
In fact, Metroid and Mario are probably the only two franchises from way back that actually did the transition into 3D successfully. Mega Man too, in the form of Mega Man Legends, but that’s now completely defunked.
Storywise? Sorry, I don’t care if Link is the most popular video game character ever. I’ll take JC Denton or Raziel any day. Give me a dynamic character that actually grows. Not some flat nothing that turns into ‘the big darn hero’, just so you can project yourself on to them. But somepony that already has convictions that they have to battle against, as much as they do their surroundings. Because when they have to make 'that decision’, or 'that sacrifice’, it’s meaningful.
theblackstrawberry asked: How was your day? XD
Getting kind of stressful, actually. Huge surge of questions all of a sudden and it’s putting me further behind on this Earthbound piece.
I might just have to release a short, few second long teaser.
Anonymous asked: It's Me The Anon It's Alight With Me. You Can Tell Gilda Who You Think I Am. I Don't Mind At All.
I thought you were good at disguising yourself as anon, Gilda. You said so in the past.
And I’m not telling, if they want to admit to it, they can come out of anon and send me a message admitting to it.
cranberry-scotch-replies asked: What's your favorite video game?
Generally speaking, I don’t have one. All games have gigantic flaws that, at least in part, ruin a perfect experience.
But the answer is Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I remember the first time I sat down and played Morrowind and was completely blown away. Then Oblivion came out and I was like, “Not bad! More of the same, but not bad!” Fallout 3 was, “Pretty nice! I’d like some magic and decent buffs, but otherwise pretty swank!”
Human Revolution is like Morrowind, times Fallout 3, to the power of (without mentioning a Deus Ex game in the explanation) the second half of Deadly Premonition.
Best game I’ve ever played, and haven’t even gotten very far. Plus, I usually favor open world games!
Audible sigh.
And here I thought I was gonna get through a day without having to censor anypony.
jmg1234-deactivated20140425 asked: yea, i understand steet danger, thats where i got my first casualty
Anyway we can talk about something else?
Television shows, video games, movies, something not so dark and depressing?
Anonymous asked: I'm sorry but i must disagree... it wasn't sweetie belle...
I didn’t think it was.
askgildagriffon replied to your post: :D smart pony. i really do need to expand my adjectives to describe people. you deserve all the praise.
If Sweetie Is Claiming Responsibility That Means You Can Tell Us Who You Thought It Was. So Who Did You Think It Was?
N~ope.
If they want everypony to know, they’ll have to say so themselves.
Anonymous asked: Hey, can you do me a favor and say "orange"? And put your shoe on your head?
I don’t think so, no.
And I don’t own any shoes. I was gonna get some snow boots during winter, but I never got around to it.

Hmph But I’m Interested! I’m Trying To Work It Out But I’m Not Good At This Kind Of Thing. C’mon Can’t You Give Me A Hint?
ask-sweetie-belle replied to your post: askgildagriffon replied to your post: C: 2001st…
Alright I confess it was me. And I’m not just taking the wrap for that guy so you don’t know who he/she is.
If you want to admit to it, Sweetie, that’s fine. But that would make me wrong in the two I thought it might be. Which actually means you were doing fine.
If you want to admit to it, that is.
Anonymous asked: Can you put your shoes on your head?
No thank you.
Anonymous asked: if you knew what jmg's done in iraq, you wouldn't be talking to him.
We’ve already talked about it.
I can’t ever support a war, but… What those people stand for, the ones that would kill mercilessly? If there was ever a reason to fight back, that has to be it.
jmg1234-deactivated20140425 asked: if you were here, you'd understand.
You’re probably right. I’ve never been in a war.
And as many times as my life was put into danger when I was a foal, there were safe places to be, if you could reach them. There aren’t any where you are. Not really.
But when somepony limps up to you and says they just watched their best friend or sister get raped and kidnapped, what exactly are you supposed to say?
It’s not fair to you because it’s my past vs. your present. I can choose to ignore what happened to me years ago, but you can’t ignore what’s happening right now.
But if I’m not sorry, what am I?
askgildagriffon replied to your post: C: 2001st post. you really are amazing, you should feel that way.
Who Do You Think It Is? I Want To Know.
Now, Gilda. If somepony posted anonymously, they obviously don’t want to have their identity revealed.
roboshi-deactivated20160514 asked: Well it seems my near death experience left me with a little present, elements of my personality have started talking to me directly, so far it's 5 of them but they say more will come. They even proved they were telling the truth by removing my fear of drowning.
Uh huh…
Well, I can tell you right now that’s not how mental illness works. Maybe that rock you ate had some kind of malicious magic on it.
Anonymous asked: C: 2001st post. you really are amazing, you should feel that way. and yes, they do matter, every post matters, and if it didn't matter to me, then i wouldn't have heard every song and read every post. but anyways im glad your here, your super great and wonderful, and the best pony i've ever followed.
Thanks.
I just never really got much praise growing up… Doesn’t quite feels right when I hear it.
To me, there’s just gotta be some pony better than me.
And if this is who I think it might be, double thanks, but you don’t quite disguise your grammar and speech perfectly.
It doesn’t really matter, just, you know, be careful when you go anon.
