Sorry Lyra, this is my fav little tube amp, and it really puts out some noise. But anyway, you get the basic idea? It’s not too hard.
Can we switch to a different amp then? That low rumble is going to keep Sweetie up.

Alright. Put this over your head, and you hold it here. *plugs in the bass into the amp*. Now you know the way you pluck your lyre? Same thing, just remember how they taught ya to play, and just extend that across the neck. And then ya strum.
Okay… but my lyre doesn’t have a neck. Isn’t there something about holding strings down across frets while strumming? I only used to plucking strings at various points.

Hehe, you’re funny sometimes. Anyways, I think you will like trying bass. It’s easy, and it makes the best weapon. You can swing one around, take out any pony, the occasional demigod, and anything else you can find.

Two reasons.
One, because this is the internet, not face-to-face interaction. You have time to communicate without stumbling on words or being incredibly upset. There’s no excuse for swearing.
Secondly, I run a family friendly page. I operate under the assumption that some of the ponies following me don’t know those words and have no reason to be exposed to them. Plus, it shows a certain level of maturity. And swearing isn’t the way mature adults communicate in a casual interaction.
I swear, but not online, and not in front of children. When Gilda tossed me like a rag doll into a wall, I swore quite a few times. Not directed at anypony, just as a reaction to having the wind knocked out of me.
