I know it sounds good on paper to just let her choose. But Sweetie Belle isn’t a dog or some other kind of pet. She isn’t just going to adapt to whatever her surroundings are.
Sweetie’s still young and inexperienced. She doesn’t necessarily know what’s best for her. She might know what she wants, but wants and needs almost never overlap.
Nevermind the mental trauma being forced to make such a decision would put on her. How do you choose between family and friend? How do you justify the… um… unavoidable? Unavoidable truth that in picking one, you deny the other?
Undeniable, that’s what I meant to say…
No. As callus as it sounds, she doesn’t need to be involved in this decision. She’s fragile and that’s not fair to make her choose.
All I can say, is that if Sweetie lives with me and Bon-Bon, I will make sure that Rarity is still a part of her life.

How could it have been your fault? Rarity, you’ve been pretty out of it yourself these last few days. You can’t do everything.
I’ve got Bon-Bon to help me out. You’re pretty much on your own. You and Basil have some pretty… um… vast… uh… cultural differences to overcome. And not just between each other, but the entire town.
Yesterday was unfortunate, but it was a learning experience. For all of us. Sweetie tried to run away from her problems, and it didn’t help. It was scary, but we can be thankful that she wasn’t in any real danger.
And of course she loves you. That’s not even in question.
She’s obviously not happy with me..I think I’ve done too much damage to our relationship to salvage anything good for the future..*Averts eyes to the ground* Whenever I mention your name, she just gets so happy..
I have it easier than you do. You have to be a mother-figure and a sister.
Maybe this way you can just be a sister… She needs one.
