mikethederp-deactivated20120617 asked: I am a very patient brony Lyra.
Maybe, but I wouldn’t want you to have to wait on me.
I’ve already played the game for hours just screwing around. Even if the ending sucks I’m sure it’s worth the money.
Not that waiting wouldn’t probably save you a few bits.
everpresentshades-blog asked: I think you'll make a great teacher, you seem to actually understand the issues that a child might face which always makes great teachers, plus you seem to really love kids. I think the only issue you have to worry about is trying to hard to be the kids friends and not their teacher. Good on you for trying to make a difference.
That’s actually the problem.
There’s a difference between understanding children, and actually being able to act on it.
School board regulations are pretty strict. I can’t jump unless they tell me to.
mikethederp-deactivated20120617 asked: I meant completely done, just cause some games have a tendency to have a really good beginning and then drop off or it becomes incredibly repetitive or something, so a full opinion would be very appreciated. Or ignore me, whatever's easier for you.
See, when I say a while, I’m talking possibly months.
I only just beat the first boss.
theblackstrawberry asked: :) Have fun playing, I might stop by tonight to visit you again. Have a nice day!!
Okay!
Thanks!
You too!
mikethederp-deactivated20120617 asked: ((If you could tell me how Deus Ex is when you're done, I'd be much obliged. Still on the fence for buying it >.>))
Unless you meant completely done with the game. That might take a while.
everpresentshades-blog asked: Honestly, it seems like school issues can be solved easily. I think that one kid is real the only major ruffle.
Did I mention being a teacher is the last thing I ever wanted to do with my life?
theblackstrawberry asked: It's okay if that person doesn't like your name, I like your name, and as long as you like your name, nobody else's opinion really matters.
Well, I do like my name.
Edit: Deus Ex time!
tokerpony-deactivated20120325 asked: :D If it makes you feel better, I love the name Lyra.
Thanks! Me too!
everpresentshades-blog asked: Gotta say that it's pretty refreshing to see you this happy
Oh, I’m sure I’ll be miserable by Tuesday of next week when I start working in the Equestrian School system.
Might as well ride it out while I can!
Meta pointed me to this article.
<Sibsy> is it wrong that I hate the names Lyra and Octavia? lol
Now I feel sad…
everpresentshades-blog asked: Even if she picks the nicest guy ever, you have the right, nay (lolneigh) the PRIVILEGE to terrify her boyfriend.I have the best mental image of Sweetie getting ready and the poor guy sitting in a chair while you stare him down. Oh man this needs to happen. Buy a shotgun you can clean in front of him.
I dunno. That just seems mean to be mean.
I’m sure it won’t come to that.
Not that I wouldn’t do worse if it did…
theblackstrawberry asked: I brought this harp, and I spent a bit of last night digging it up and polishing it. It's mostly just an elaborate harp from 2000 years ago. You can sell it if you don't have the space, it would probably fetch quite a bit of bits, I'd say at least 1000. How are you? How is your leg, and Sweetie Belle?
Wow! That’s so cool! Thank you!
I’m fine; my leg is still gimp.
I’ll probably wake Sweetie up in a bit. Wanna get in some Human Revolution first, though.
theblackstrawberry asked: *knocks on your door* Hello Lyra!!
Salut!
theblackstrawberry asked: i'll be over in a few minutes!
Okie Dokie, Lokie!
theblackstrawberry asked: It's okay, would you mind if I dropped a few things off? On my latest escapade, I found some really great instruments!
Oh! Um, sure!
Not sure how much use they’ll get over here, though.
