diamondmint asked: I was thinking more for schools or something, not for money. They aren't worth much as cash, but they are worth something as an instrument.
Pick a school, donate to it.
There isn’t a whole lot I can do to help. I haven’t even got a job subbing yet. Even then chances are I won’t be subbing for a music class so I won’t have any first-hoof knowledge of a school’s music budget.
nobodysuspicious-blog asked: Pshh. What are you talking about? That guy doesn't lie.
I know a thing or two about lyres.
[Bah Dum Ps~h]
Thanks, Sweetie!
girlysnowflake-deactivated20111 asked: *sigh* hi lyra...
[Sigh]
Hi Snowflake…
Not the most pleasant way to start a conversation, is it? Not picking on you, just showing you what that’s like.
What can I do for you?
diamondmint asked: Who said it was Gilda's? I actually have several old ones to donate.
Technically, you just said it was Gilda’s. I never did.
Orphanages need money more than instruments. Pawn them and donate the money for food.
imlyingtoyou asked: So, Lyra, tell me, have you ever played four square?
…
How… How can that even be a lie? Is it that you don’t actually care about the answer? Because you can ask a question without lying and still not care about the answer.
I might have a few times during recess.
diamondmint asked: Hey Lyra, know any small foals that could use a guitar? I have one here I would like to donate. -Mint
Just give her the stupid guitar back. She’s not going to learn anything from this.
Be better than she was.
imlyingtoyou asked: Aww... that's alright, Lyra. I care for you.
I’m just going to choose to not read the account name when I see that mask on your avatar from now on.
imlyingtoyou asked: Lyra, I am your father. I am a ghost. OOOOOOOOOOOO. No. That was in bad taste. I am not actually your father.
…
I’m conflicted…
But I think mostly I’m just disappointed. What a load of misplaced effort.
I don’t care about my parents.
They obviously didn’t care about me.

Could you try doing this piece of music?
Or is that the wrong version of the song?
I’d like to, Mister Special Agent York. But those are tabs. They’re designed to be read quickly and easily for guitar. I have no idea how to read them. To me, that might as well be wrote in Dragonic.
I have to have sheet music.

Up on the shore they work all day. Out in the sun they slave away.
Anonymous asked: Do you ever want to return to the ocean?
No more of this! Understand?! NO MORE!
You want to talk to her?! She’s right here! No more excuses for this!
regalli-deactivated20120414 asked: Miss Lyra, can we play the kazoo for music class this year?
I’m all-but-certain that isn’t up to me.
But I would guess not. It’s too simple an instrument and doesn’t really work for most pieces, except in satire.
Anonymous asked: What's it like on land? - ~ask-seapony-lyra
Oh, Celestia… It’s real…
How am I supposed to compare land to living under water? I’ve only ever lived on land!
treasurehunterchikorita-blo-blog asked: Congratulations on getting my 777th like! May luck shine upon you! Lucky STAR that is! 8D *throws a magic lucky star at you that does 777 damage*
Good thing I go by post-game Disgaea figures. Seven hundred seventy-seven isn’t even a flash-in-the-pan.
theblackstrawberry asked: I have a scale that's also enchanted, it's a bit big, but the magic on it allows me to gauge 2 different things in terms of value. Sometimes I trade favors instead of items. Write the favor on the piece of paper, and it's measured in value against the value of the item. It's also mostly how I get bits. I trade something they need for a different object they have, and I sell that sometimes. Usually those don't have magic on them.
Uh huh…
Well, whatever works, I guess!
