bluuper-deactivated20120530 asked: Aye! Aye! Teach me how to lyre! (aye!)
I can’t! I’m not a music teacher!
But there’s ponies in Canterlot that can teach you!
Although… I get the feeling this is another bit…
Not much for me to add, but it looks like some folks got your back!
askcarrottop replied to your post: I’m looking for a game with a good, yet dark story.
Penumbra.
There you go!
Alternately, if you’re just looking for something mentally stimulating, once you get past the first section or two, Deadly Premonition will send you for a trip.
Anonymous asked: Gawsh Lyra, excuse me if I think you're entertaining.
I can appreciate that!
But if you start asking me things like, “There’s a dog dying. Do you finish it off or let it suffer?” I don’t want to think about that [omitted]!
That [omitted] makes me sad!
In before somepony asks me that, or a similar question.
Anonymous asked: I'm looking for a game with a good, yet dark story. Preferably with a psychological aspect. Any suggestions?
If by psychological you mean horror, then sorry. Not much I can help you with. Horror and I don’t get along. I do everything in my power to distance myself from it.
Anonymous asked: I usually ask srs questions Lyra. It's only every once in a while I throw something random in gawsh.
If you ask serious questions targeted to “mess with me”, then you ask questions I don’t like.
Anonymous asked: Have you ever wondered if you're Cutie Mark wasn't specifically playing the lyre, but rather lyrical poems?
Can’t say that I have.
Interesting interpretation, though!
Anonymous asked: Modern Warmare 3, yay or neigh? Then again, you seem like a more story oriented gamer.
I loved Call of Cutie: Modern Waremare 2’s arcade-y style of combat! I used the riot shield with throwing knives! My favorite was shooting at helicopters with a submachine gun to get their attention and then switching to the shield to draw their fire!
I haven’t had the chance to play Modern Waremare 3 yet. Can’t afford X-Colt Live. And let’s be honest, I wouldn’t have time for it anyway.
Anonymous asked: Are you by chance a twin?
Anonymous asked: Would you consider yourself a tomboy?
I could probably stand to be more feminine, I guess.
But no. I consider myself to be neutral, favoring no particular gender role. I am me.
Anonymous asked: Are you an occasional drinker?
Yes I am.
My favorite drinks are strawberry wine coolers and bon-bons.
Anonymous asked: I don't mess with you out of spite I just love your reactions.
I’d rather you didn’t mess with me at all.
Unless you mean the odd question like if I’m a tomboy. That’s no big deal.
thegreengoo-blog-blog-blog asked: The anons are extra disgusting today. Or not. Im not active all that often. I wouldn't know.
They can’t help themselves.
askbitterchill-blog asked: Lyra, what is your opinion on racism? Personally, I think that we are all equal and nopony should be treated differently for any aesthetic difference.
I’ve discussed this before, but in short I agree.
Anonymous asked: Fine. Allow me to pick a subject. Video games. Some say they're corrupting the minds of the youth. What say you?
When me and a few others would go clear across Canterlot to this video game store to play some games on the in-store displays, I remember this one filly, way younger than us, that would watch us play Grand Theft Carriage. She even played a few times herself.
She was in advanced classes and made excellent grades. Sorry, I just don’t buy the whole “corrupting youth” thing. Can make ponies more jaded and cynical, maybe. But she never had a problem with it.
By the way, we’d sometimes get paid bits for playing those games by the owners. We’d make them look easy and customers would get drawn in.
