Hey Lyra, how ya been? *hugs* Did you record something new? I havent really been playing much myself, I’m pregnant!

[Continues recording enabled]

I’ve been alright. Tough job, but I’m actually making ends meet for a change! My half of the expenses runs about twenty bits a week and last week I made twenty-three! Should make twenty-five this week since there’s no half day!

I kinda stopped recording for a bit and only recently started up again. Got something nice in the works I could use some help with, but we’ll worry about that later.

I had heard you were pregnant. Wasn’t sure if that was good news or not. How are you? Are you alright with this?

askbitterchill-blog asked: Hey Lyra, have you ever heard of the "Lavender Town Tone"?

I think so.

That’s the thing with the scrolling code-looking stuff, right?

Was kinda weak.

Anonymous asked: Have you considered having an affair?

I’ve considered deleting this question whenever I get it from now on.

This is probably like the tenth time somepony’s asked.

diamondmint asked: Knock Knock, Lyra, I'm here. You in there?

Hey! Come on in! I was just listening to that Lavender Town recording. I really like how it turned out, for the most part…

How’s it going?

theblackstrawberry asked: :( what's so bad? I thought you were teaching children..

You have to remember, it’s special ed.

This particular job involves working with severely autistic kindergarteners to second graders. They have a hard time communicating and a few of them are violent. Most of the time they know better than to take a swing at me, but there are times where we have to hold them down just so they’ll stay seated long enough to try and teach them something.

I could talk about it in more detail, but I don’t really want to right now.

theblackstrawberry asked: how was your day?

Miserable.

I swear this is the hardest position I’ve ever worked, and I’ll be there all week.

garyyo asked: why would you put sweat on your lyre, i understand the other two but why sweat, thats just weird

It’s a figure-of-speech.

Anonymous asked: Does your lyre's strings taste like mint?

They taste like blood, sweat and tears.

[Audible sigh]

Maybe next year.

theblackstrawberry asked: May I?

Yes you may.

theblackstrawberry asked: Can I hug you for a minute?

I don’t know.

Can you?

theblackstrawberry asked: I don't want to walk away... I still want to help... Your right though... I guess that sometimes you have to step back in order to help...

That’s the point!

Don’t live out of obligation. Live because you want to. Because everyday is a gift and hardship is worth enduring for those tiny moments of happiness.

treasurehunterchikorita-blo-blog asked: =w= *jumps off and runs off to somewhere else then*

I wasn’t clear.

When you send an ask, I decide what you do.

You were never in my house tonight.
