I know Lyra, that’s why I want to be there for you… I’m just too far away right now. I’ll be there tomorrow alright?

It’s not that big of a deal, E. I didn’t become an orphan yesterday. It would be lovely to see you, of course! Just, you know, don’t break an appointment over it or anything. I’m not going anywhere.

ethepony replied to your post: 1) [Audible Sigh] How many times am I going to be…
I’m sorry Lyra… I want to give you a hug.

1) Yes, Caboose, I’m the Batmare. (Oddly enough, no questionable language in a Red Vs. Blue clip)

2) I can dig it. Pretty wicked.

3) How incredibly crass and inappropriate. Parental advisory in spades.

Didn’t go very far, but I laughed a few times.

4) Sorry, E. I thought you knew. My friends are the closest to family I have.

1) [Audible Sigh]

How many times am I going to be expected to smile pretty and answer what essentially comes down to not just somepony questioning my relationship, but also my judgment?

And after the poetic words he wove, how am I supposed to follow that and not look like an uncultured git?

2) It’s more complicated than just that. I don’t really feel like getting into it right now. I’m not exactly in the best mood.

3) Because I was born with two-tone hair and I get the edges highlighted to make them pop more, because the natural, gradual blind just looks lazy.

You know, exactly what it was the last five times I was asked.

As for being related to Colgate, again, it’s been answered plenty of times before.

1) ZA WARUDO!

2) Why do you have poor shading across the silhouette of a descriptionless face?

3) I’m sick again. I’ll know tomorrow if it’s serious again like last time.

pegasus-cloud-kicker asked: Do you like the good that the bear makes or does he not cook for you?

He cooks.

It’s all fabulous, but my taste buds aren’t sensitive enough to appreciate it as much as I should. Bon-Bon says it’s fantastic, so it must be!

Oh, I meant just wondering around and looking at the city. Looking at the building’s… architecture I guess. Just the way things are designed and positioned.

I checked up on the orphanage in Manehatten while we were there. Wish I could have donated.

theblackstrawberry asked: Lyra bo-byra tell me everything about your trip.

Nah. Boscov covered it pretty well.

Anonymous asked: I was talking about Pony Revolution so you were right. I should've been specific. You offered quite a few tips, the only part I remember is you mentioned wanting the Icarus for the second city, but that's it. I didn't find that glitch, by the sounds of it I don't think I even found the mission and probably missed it, I'm out in the what I think is the second city. As for games, I meant what you're playing currently, but I will agree that Disgaea tons of fun. No space for a question. Next time!

Oh yeah. Icarus is really helpful once you get to Hengsha, and EMP Shielding is really useful in the second boss battle. I’d advise having it by the time you reach the basement of Picus Communication for that fight.

Also, if you’re doing a non-lethal run, gas grenades are non-lethal. Having a few, and an EMP grenade, will make your life much easier when you get back to Hengsha the second time.

Anonymous asked: What does Boscov see in you?

That’s really more of something to ask him.

Why me I’ll never understand.

Anonymous asked: So why did you choose an interspecies lifestyle? Was it because you wanted attention? Do you believe most colts are trash? Are you a self-loathing pony?

I didn’t. I just gave it a chance.

No.

No.

How is that relevant?

By the way, I would have given this post more of my time, but all four of those questions have been asked in one way or another more than once. I get the feeling you care less about the answer I give for them and more about justifying the conclusion you’ve already drawn out for yourself.

Anonymous asked: Hi Lyra! A little random, but thanks for recommending Deus Ex so much so many months ago. Finally got time to play it and it is so much fun! Shame I can't remember all the little tips and tricks you wrote all that time ago. Anyways, onto my actual question: When you've actually gotten time to play anything, if at all, what have you spending most of your time on?

I’m glad you’re enjoying it!

Not sure how many tips I offered. I do remember one glitch I encountered. When you get back to base after the first real mission, don’t go into any apartment buildings until you get a side mission to non-lethally capture a specific gang member. If you run into his guards before hand, one of them might glitch and get teleported to an area you can’t reach once you get the mission. It’s the only glitch I ever ran across in all three of my playthroughs, which is a shame because it happened so early off that it really lowers the precieved quality of the game.

Talk to people. Side missions aren’t specially marked and you don’t want to miss out on any. Plus you can hear some useful or immersive dialog.

If you’re having trouble with a boss fight, know that the first two can be won with only the equipment found in the battle room. If it comes down to it, try to avoid the boss and look around the room for weapons or environmental objects to use. There’s a few weapons lying around in the third boss room, but if you can win with just that, I have no idea how. Anything that can damage you, can and will damage a boss. The only exception is that you can’t do a melee attack against them, but they can against you.

You mean like, most time spend on a single game ever? If MMOs are included, City of Ponies by far. If we’re only talking about regular games, Disgaea. The game isn’t all that long, I just liked playing around and having fun with it.

I also enjoyed Disgaea 2, and would have played 3 and 4, but I don’t have a Playstable 3.

Edit: Huh, just realized you might have meant the first Deus Ex. Let me know if that’s what you meant.

Anonymous asked: Oh, I thought your argument was that there are no real heroes.

I suppose in hindsight that depends more on your definition of “real hero.”

theblackstrawberry asked: It's Strawberry!! Open up!

It’s been a while, but I don’t think that’s how knock knock jokes work.

theblackstrawberry asked: *knock knock*

Who’s there?

theblackstrawberry asked: I heard you were back?

Nope.

There was a freak tornado that picked up the train and tossed it all the way back to the train station in Manehatten. No one was harmed and nothing was damaged, but it’ll take a whole ‘nother day to-

Yes, we’re back!
