self-care is tricking your self-loathing brain into a roundabout

A system organized around the weakest qualities of individuals will produce the same qualities in its leaders.
Does that mean I don’t get the job?

At the rate I get asks these days, that’d probably last over a year.
Also- J.C. Denton! Put that thing away before somepony loses an eye!
Bon-Bon: See? This is exactly what I’m talking about.
Lyra: Uh huh.
Bon-Bon: My Hobbies: I love sports. I love driving. I love taking a walk, comics, cartoons, shopping, watching movies, television, books, games, studying. Studying?! Who is going to pick studying? Music, internet, camera, videos, social networking- where is cooking?
Lyra: Yeah.
Bon-Bon: Lots of people like cooking, Lyra- it’s very popular! But driving? Taking a walk? How can you consider taking a walk a hobby?
Lyra: Iunno.
Bon-Bon:
Exercise is the word you were looking for and it’s a lot more involved than taking a walk!
And watching television? That’s a pastime not a hobby. Hobbies are constructive. Photography is a hobby, music is a hobby, watching videos is not a hobby!
Lyra: Boy howdy.
Bon-Bon: Boy how- Boy howdy? Are you even listening?
Lyra: I… am building a tower… out of titanium blocks. But I need… carpet.
Bon-Bon: See? Now that’s a hobby! Work your mind! But this right here is nonsense and I for one am appalled at the very notion that-

Wow! Was it really?
I mean I thought it might have been but I wasn’t about to toot my own horn on a hunch.
Thanks for letting me know! It sounds fantastic! Hold on, I’ll reblog it!
(continued) I think Team Science’s pokemon are primarily electricity, but they mix their teams up with pokemon that have ground resistance/immunity or pokemon with items like Air Balloons, Shuca Berries, and Enigma Berries.
I like this!!
Write more Team Science headcanons in the replies if you want, I’m living for these
The defeated changelings lie scattered around me, a paltry effort to stop my advance. But with my attention no longer focused on defending myself, I noticed the clouds in the sky had gathered and darkened. Thunder followed shortly. They were concealing their movements. I chanced a glance at the few injured bodies around me. Too Few. Their attacks, spread too far apart. They were merely a distraction. They had succeeded.
My gaze returned to the sky in time to find something massive ripping its way through the clouds in a dive with me as its heading. A dragon? Working for changelings? Impossible as it was I searched for its heart with my magic. Would that I could claim and constrict its beating, I could lay low the beast in moments.
Three, four, five times I grasped. But try as I might the spell could not find its mark. As precise as the power must be to succeed, it had never failed me so many times. An illusion? In desperation I fired a beam, but it made no contact. The dragon’s body split in half to avoid it, then rejoined. The realization hit me like a cart full of apples. This was no dragon, nor was it a trick.
I dove to avoid the deadly swipe of their talons, the gust from their lunge whipped about me and I could not resist the need to shut my eyes. Dust filled the air and the taste of dirt flooded my senses. I coughed in fits as I stood once more and batted the air around me.
When I caught my breath and chanced use of my sight, I found the monstrosity silhouetted against the moon, turning in for another swoop against me. A dragon made of changelings… Just when you think you’ve seen all they have, they throw a curve-ball… A [omitted] Voltron dragon made of changelings…
Thanks! You should just do a “Top Games” list, where you just list the games you’ve played this year that you liked.
Two other games I almost put on my list were Steamworld Heist (Turn-based 2D Strategy Game) and The Metronomicon (Rhythm-based RPG), but I don’t have nearly as many hours in those games to justify putting them above the others in my top 5.
asklyra replied to your post : Sound’s Top 5 Games of 2016
I’d do a top 5, but I don’t think I’ve played 5 different games this year. I remember playing the original Harvest Moon a lot. I like your list! And it wasn’t that long.
Okay! I’ll get something together in a few days!
In the mean time, Happy New Year!
