Raindrops: Steven Floats was a little slow paced, I guess…

Blossomforth: … The one with Sour Cream’s dad?
Lyra: Yes…
Blossomforth: … What was wrong with it? Seemed pretty formulaic to me.
Lyra: That’s the- [Sigh] … Nevermind…
Raindrops: Lyra, you know how this works. Nopony is going to coax it out of you. You either say something or you don’t.
Lyra: I just… Marty was a jerk, sure, but why couldn’t he have made a real connection with Sour Cream? Why couldn’t the conflict of the episode have been about choosing to favor the parent that raised you or the parent you share interests with? Wouldn’t that have been a more interesting episode?
Blossomforth: Uh… I guess?
Raindrops: Maybe?
Lyra: Why can’t a parent disappear and come back… and come back with genuine interest in their child…?
Blossomforth: …Wha-?
Raindrops: They can do that Lyra- You’re right. That’s what should have happened.
1) But that’s the whole point! Silly, upbeat- that’s why they’re good icebreakers! These other ones you’ve been sending are just shock humor at best, and downright hateful at worst.

3) See! This one is super clever! And it’s a little bit personalized, indicating you probably already know a thing or two about me. But others might hold it too long to measure, if they’re not familiar with the terminology.

5) I mean… I have no words… I’d probably call for help/security immediately, fearing for my well-being. Why would you ever say that to another person, for any reason, ever?

Missed my Tumblrversary again! Last Friday was 5 years!
At least this time I had already started working on something to post. Can’t say when it’ll be done, but I hope soon.
Finished another awesome year at bronycon today, update post and such coming later. Grey and I were having our last dinner a few minutes ago at Bubba Gumps, and an extended family of about 11 were having issues splitting up the check. I may have accidentally paid their entire check after following their server into the kitchen. Oops. The server was cool and said exactly what I asked, of “some random person in here paid for your check, everything’s covered”. They were definitely not there for the con, so I know they won’t see this and spoil my cover.
Thanks everypony that bought something from me, you helped me have enough to randomly pay for a group’s dinner.
