I saw the one Applebloom made and thought, “Hey! That’s pretty nifty!” But I actually didn’t make one right away, I sort of chickened out and went to bed. I didn’t make one until the following evening.
I tell you, this has been so cool! I get to talk with all these ponies that I never get to talk to around town!
I try to be nice. I mean, I probably shouldn’t have to try to be nice. It should come naturally. But I do try, really hard.
I’m busy, I don’t always have time for everypony. I wish I did, but there just aren’t enough hours in the day.

I’m actually about to head to bed. I figure we can just knock it out tomorrow if you’re available. If not, that’s okay, probably won’t be done until Sunday. Even after we get all the recording done, I gotta toss the thing around to get the volume on the instruments right.

Well, anytime is fine. We don’t need to record all together. It’s just, between all the moving and stuff, I hadn’t finished transcribing your part so I obviously couldn’t record you.

Besides, once you get the part down, you’ll see how simple it is.
We won’t be playing in front of a bunch of ponies or anything. We might not even get more than a few ponies to show up for just one song.
I think Sweetie Belle will be enough for this one. The drumline is nothing complicated, she just needs some practice. But that could be useful later on, thanks!

I just got word from Sweetie Belle, and I know she’s going to need time to practice. Also, I’m pretty sure I’m going to need yet another guitarist…
And if this is being pushed back anyway… I’m thinking maybe a live performance might be possible.
If that happens, it probably won’t be done tomorrow either. I still need to recalibrate the sound because my lyre is coming in too loud later on in the piece when other insturments should be overshadowing it.

Well… I was going to rush out a short teaser for the next piece I’m doing, but just as I had the few seconds of recording down. The program crashed and I lost it.
So… Instead of putting down a few seconds now and being unable to upload anything until after midnight tomorrow, I’ll just keep working on it.

I was about a third of the way into setting the song out. Bassline, drum section and all, and the program I was transcribing in crashed again and I’m back near the beginning. No drums, no bassline…
I’m about to cry…
